They don't care about that you lost your money. They are so terrible. Please, if you want my advise do not use this website if you don't want to lose your money! I just signed up for Quibids a few minutes ago. They will not answer their phone at and it was during business hours. I am disputing this charge on my card. I bid on 2 different items and won them. I ordered two other items and I received them within a few days. The ones that I won Pokie Review Quibids Promo billing info.

Received and no shipping info. Talked to Pokies Australia Wine Jobs service and still don't show that they have shipped.

They say it is the vendor So it that is true don't order anything with Kocaso. I have not received either item. Also, always pay with PayPal I expired the same thing most of you did. So this is what I figured out. So in essence, everyone that loses the bid has helped to pay for the item that someone else wins. This site should be banned!! Do not waste your money. I have zero trust in this site They are blowing up Craigslist with offers that are too good to be true.

I am in the market for a new flat screen TV. I'm always looking for the best deal. I immediately contacted the poster and they replied stating they just sold the TV but I can get a great deal on the same TV on Pokie Review Quibids Promo. And this Craigslist poster apparently bought 3 of them on quickbids. I didn't think nothing of it. I decided to check quickbids out, but I didn't open an account luckily I was too busy at the time figure out how the site works.

I then found another great deal for a 55" tv on Craigslist, again I emailed the Craigslist poster and I got the identical reply Stating they just sold it but I can get it on quick-bids.

So that's when I realized I'm dealing with a company that is crooked. After my Craigslist experience with them and the reviews that I have read here, I'm very happy I didn't open an acct there.

And I feel sorry for those of you that got ripped off. I would imagine you can't win the auctions and I would assume you're bidding against software. I'd say the odds of getting a good deal on their site are slim to none.

I just wanted to share my experience. Thankful I didn't get scammed. Perhaps this company was once legit but they certainly aren't anymore.

Hopefully this site gets shut down. When I signed up for this service, they requested my credit card information before I could bid. I contacted customer support and they did a refund. Beware of this company, they are not being totally honest. I am sorry so many of you lost money. For those of you that have lost money on your credit cards, dispute the charge with the issuer of your card. Visa and MasterCard are good about getting your money back for you in arbitration.

Socking Truth How To Win at QuiBids Auctions Quibids Strategy And Depth Review Scam

You don't have to live with fraudulent merchants like this and if you want to see they go out of business, this the quickest way. If their credit card processor won't do business with them anymore, how are they going to stay in business?

If very many people ask for a reversal in charges Fruit Machines Pokie Puffs Tissues the company misrepresents itself then they will cancel their contract. This is a HUGE scam!! It's impossible to win anything because you have 6 or 7 other "bidders" I believe the other bidders are computer generated artificial intelligence bidding on the same auction thus, returning the auction clock back to 10 seconds.

This can continue for a extremely long time, as it did in my case, 45 minutes in 10 second increments. This is a game. A game of gamble like slots in a casino. Your chances of winning is slim to none. Don't fall for this like I did. Sincerely, Sucker in South Carolina. I think in the Pokie Review Quibids Promo it was okay. I was winning and when I didn't win I would switch over to buying gift cards so they actually got a lot of money for me.

But the worst thing ever is two of the prizes that I did win and one of them I paid full price for the other one. I want a pretty good deal. They both came broken and by the time I open them and try them out it was too late.

Was nothing I could do. I was in the middle of moving and they just didn't care.

What's up with that??? I tried to use the Quibids system to find deals.

I found that it requires a great deal of time and loss of many bids each costing money to wind up with nothing if you don't have time and a large stash of bids which costs money. After a year of inactivity, I realized I still had an account. I asked them to end my account and refund my money left on the account.

I was told it had been too long and I could only have the bids and no refund. I believe this constitutes theft! Regardless of how long it's been, I should still get whatever cash is represented by my number of bids. Don't use this company! They will find some way to steal your money! So I just went to make a Pokies Big Winners Hartford name and all that on Quibids.

I had no idea. I've never even dealt with a website like this before that just charges your account without even letting you know. What a total SCAM!!! Tried to buy from items from Craigslist. Not surprising, advertising and promotions for penny auctions focus not on those risks but on the dramatic savings that only some participants see. The guy is a paid actor.

There's no mention of losing bidders or how much they spent, assuming the ad was based on an actual auction. There's also no mention of any risk. You'd better believe it," the ad says. As with the QuiBids ad, the site boasts of savings of as high as 95 percent without mentioning any potential for loss. Remember, only one person wins each auction. In contrast, some sites, especially QuiBids, include helpful information and warnings about overspending and tips on how to bid effectively.

Some critics and happy customers alike say penny auctions are gambling. After all, you spend money with the hope of being the winning bidder at the end of the auction. But the websites reject the gambling label. The main reason, they argue, is that there's no element of chance, as there would be when you play a state lottery, for example. They also say that you control how often you bid and when to stop. While the same could be said for eBay or any traditional auction, the difference is that when you bid on those other auctions you don't pay to bid so it costs you nothing but time if you lose.

Those sites give you the option of buying most items at a retail price they set, minus all or part of the amount you've bid. The site considers buy-now so integral to its business that it's trying position itself as an "entertainment retail auction" site where you can buy items at competitive prices after first taking a chance at getting an amazing deal.

But it's not that simple. Beyond that, the buy-now price might not be a good deal. We found that buy-now prices on penny-auction sites are typically higher than those on Amazon and other retailers. The site says its prices are becoming more competitive as it grows and is able to deal directly with manufacturers and distributors. And not every site allows you to apply percent of losing bids to the cost of buying the product. ArrowOutlet lets you use only 10 cents of every losing cent bid to buy an item.

Other sites, such as Beezid, don't allow you to buy the item at all, so if you lose, your bid money is gone. Whether it's technically gambling or not, Lee says, it's easy to get hooked.

She remembers spending 12 hours one Christmas Eve bidding. If you have an addictive personality, you can get carried away. And there are other reasons that people feel compelled to bid longer than they should.

She was employing a common strategy on penny auction sites: Trying to establish a reputation as someone who won't quit and who is therefore not worth bidding against. Some bidders use screen names such as "BidtilIwin. Given how ridiculously high the price went, she now suspects that she was bidding against shills or a program the site had set up to increase the number of bids.

Lee is not the only one who has alleged wrongdoing. In September , the penny-auction site PennyBiddr agreed to shut down and reimburse consumers nationwide as part of a settlement with the Washington State attorney general. The state had accused the company of using phony bids to increase the number of bids and to prevent legitimate bidders from winning.

The site did not acknowledge wrongdoing. And in a preliminary injunction issued in September, the U. District Court in Seattle froze the assets of Canadian entrepreneur and self-described philanthropist Jesse Willms, owner of Selloffauctions.

In issuing the injunction, the court cited a wide range of evidence, including more than complaints from Willms' penny-auction customers to the FTC and 1, complaints to the Better Business Bureau of Alberta, Canada. The Better Business Bureau raised concerns about penny auction sites in a July post on its blog. QuiBids gets an A minus rating and the BBB's flagship accreditation despite the complaints the organization has received about the site.

Most of the complaints involve advertising and sales issues, problems with products or services, and billing or collection. Web-based message boards are chockablock with complaints and negative reviews about penny auctions. The Better Business Bureau says it has received almost complaints about the site , many describing similar practices. In mid-September, the review site SiteJabber issued community alerts about more than negative reviews for QuiBids and 83 for Beezid. Many of the reviews we examined questioned the penny-auction concept, calling it gambling and expressing frustration over having spent money for little or no return.

While technically possible, in reality over the lifetime the average user will pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars over MSRP for items or not win any items at all and just sink money into the auctions with the false hope of winning them.

It is a roulette wheel and the odds are always in favor of the house. Also, the site stops customers from participating in an auction when the current bid price and the amount they've bid so far equals or exceeds the buy-now cost.

But he also acknowledged that the penny-auction industry has seen some bad players. With the failure of so many sites, he said, it's becoming more difficult for new sites to find financing, which he predicted would reduce the number of problems. Very good customer service. That's enough of an explanation. I do not like to be asked to sent out one hundred details, not an acceptable practice.

Called about a charge that was not mine and it was handled right then. It will be back into my bank account within 7 business days. I personally felt like i was sitting at a slot machine watching my life waste away. Not worth my precious time or energy. Theres a better way to get great deals. If you read all of Helen's response, I'd like to point out there were a couple of phrases that she used that were direct quotes from two emails I got from QuiBids. Which only lead me to believe that Helen is a shill for the company. That said, I do not believe that QuiBids is a scam. They are a legit business who simply doesn't explain much about anything.

Then, read them again. Go and watch how bids work on various items. But, no, I don't believe QuiBids is a scam. We definitely want to echo what Mary H. Quibids is a fradulant business. This is a terrible site- complete time waster- customer service is rude, and the buy now option is terribly inflated. I tell everyone I know that there are better ways to make 10G's.

If you are at all intellectual- this is not for you. I have wone over 7 HDTV's 6 laptops and countless other things for I sold them all on Ebay for over 10 G. I also am the kind of person that walks into a casino and lays down my money on a game I never saw or hears of and am pissed that I lost all my money, and I blame everything on the casino.

Its all the casino's fault. What were you expecting? This feature is under constructions and poster will not be able to reply to your message using private messages at this time. Also I have seen a few times the clock stop at 5,6 and 7 seconds and not start for a while???? Why does the clock stop, it seams that this is set up to get a high value. If you bid on a stopped clock it will start again. It sounds like you are experiencing a little bit of internet lag which is resulting in a delay in your screen updating.

Please be sure that your system meets our recommendations as this will help mitigate some of this for you. If you did not win the auction, you are not required to pay anything else. You will have the choice though of paying the difference between the value of your bids and the item value price so you can still claim it. If I am bidding on a clothing item and win, do I choose my size?

I only see the picture of the item, not the size. You should be able to change the size of the item in the drop-down box right above the item title in the description. If the option is not available or you can not find it, please contact our Customer Support Team and we will be more than happy to help!

Yes, you can bid if and when you decide. It is totally up to you! The transaction fee is a fee we are required to collect to process a gift card purchase for you. You will always be able to see what this fee will be before placing any bids in the Item Description.

How much is a "bid? Or, are products available to anyone for bidding regardless of their location? For example, can someone in California bid against someone in New York? You could be bidding against users in different timezones or even different countries.

However, anything that you see on our site to bid on will be from your own country and of the same approximate value in the auction. This means the auction is only available to the users who were actively participating in the auction when it locked. This prevents more users from jumping in when others have already been bidding in the auction for awhile. I've already emailed customer support for a refund and I wanted to know how long it could take for a reply?

We try to respond to all emails as soon as possible, but it could take up to business days for us to respond. However, we will get to your request as soon as humanly possible! Contact our Customer Support team though the Help section and we will be more than happy to help you out!

So, each bid is. Like if i bid at Each bid is pre-paid, so you will not have to pay for your bids afterwards. As a new user, must I bid on a beginner auction before bidding on the "big" auction items? Must I win a beginner auction?

No, you are not required to bid in these auctions. We offer them as a way to get your feet wet without immediately competing against more experienced users, but it's up to you! However, don't forget, once you win any auction beginner or not you will not be able to compete in any more beginner auctions. There are constantly auctions occurring on our site. How long they last is up to you and the other users participating. Yes, if you win an auction, you have 3 business days from the time the auction ends to claim your item and check out.

If you have trouble along the way, contact our Customer Support Team! Limit Buster auctions are won or purchased via Buy Now and automatically deduct the specified number of wins from your day auction win limits.

This enables you to participate in more auctions. Limit Busters won't cancel out products you've paid for, they simply open up additional spots for more wins. When a limit buster is purchased, it will remove the most recently won items from your day win limits. Too often when I bid at 1 second the auction ended and said I was too late.

This was NOT the fault of my computer or connection because most of the time it goes through. I am not happy losing a lot of bids because the auction ended and the system did not take my bid.

If this problem cannot be remedied it is pointless to continue. I was not waiting at one second, but clicking promptly. You can always send the auction number and a description of what happened to our Customer Support Team and we will be more than happy to look into this for you!

Is the " buy now" price below most advertised retail pricing ; say I didn't win an auction I've participated in and hit the "buy now" button.

Will the "buy now" price result in somewhat below retail savings? We recommend that you do your research prior to bidding to determine if you think the value price is a fair price or not. It's just like buying the item at retail price! So at least you had a chance at getting it at a discount, eh? Please note that this offer applies to real bids only, and that voucher bids to do not apply to the Buy Now option.

The bids you purchased do not pay for your auction wins. Locked auctions are a new feature on all QuiBids auctions that allows bidders to win more easily by limiting the competition in each auction. If you would like to add new billing or shipping information, you will have this option at the time of your next purchase. I encourage you to read here on our Help page: I didn't understand when I started bidding that each time I pressed down -6o cents!

So what is the time limit set for bidding for each auction? Where does this 5 min rule come into play? And are there certain people who can bid before the time clock hits the 5 mins left mark?

You can only bid in live auctions. We publish auctions well in advance of them going live so users can plan which auctions they want to bid in, but until the auction is live which occurs at the 5 minute mark, no bids are accepted.

We can assist you at that time. Send us the auction number at Customer Support and we would be more than happy to look into this for you! It depends on the auction and when that particular auction locks. You can read more about Locked Auctions here: Is there anyway to set bids more than a penny higher. If an item has 50 bids on it and i place 1 bid but don't win the item, am I charged the total at the time I placed the bid 51 or just the 1 that I bid?

These bids are pre-paid and placed in your Bids Account. These bids are non-refundable, once placed into auctions. You have to buy bids so you have something to use in our auctions.

The Starter Bid Package of bids is the first package new users purchase, but there are more options available for future purchases. Unused real bids are refundable at your request. On a "you choose it" auction, it seems that if I'm bidding on an item and someone bids on a separate item in the same auction ID, that it bumps the price on my item. How else can the bids on all of them go up at the same time. This is unethical, if it is true, that a bid on a separate item will raise the bid on my item???

This means that each auction has a list of up to items that you can choose from! The winner of the auction gets to select from the list the item they want the most! You can read all about it in our blog post, here: Click on My QuiBids. Scroll down the page until you see the won auction. This is located underneath the title of the auction. It will take you back to the Auction Page. Click the link that says, 'You Choose It!

You can use the search bar on our page to find any item we have available. You can also browse our store to see all of our items and find any available auctions. You can watch any auction you wish without having to place any bids.

I won an item for 1 cent and got it for free, does that mean anytime someone wins an item for less than 50 cents it's free barring bid costs? Is the bid amount that is not refundable and useful on the Buy Now option, available for anything on Buy Now or just the item on which you were bidding? You can use the Buy Now on any one item from the auction in which you were bidding, even if it's not the one you bidding on in that auction originally.

At this time, we offer free shipping within the United States! If you were charged shipping, please contact our Customer Support Team and we will rectify that immediately! When I place a bid, does it ask for the amount I want to bid? Or does it place an automatic amount to the item? I encourage you to read through our Help page regarding: How does QuiBids work? Each time you place a bid; it will be deducted from your remaining bids, and will increase the price of the auction by one cent. No more than 20 seconds is added to the timer whenever a bid is placed. This allows another user the opportunity to bid if interested. At any time, any unused purchased bids remaining in your account can be refunded without a hassle at your request. If I am a beginner and I sign up and put my card number in does it automatically make me buy bids.

No, only the winner is able to purchase the auction for the final price. Everyone else has the option to use their customized Buy Now price.

Shipping is free in the US, unless otherwise noted. For other regions, the fees will be visible to users in the product description for each item on the auction's page. If I don't use quibids as much I dont remember buying bids or anything. Is there a registering fee? There is not a registration fee, however, during the registration, you are given the opportunity to purchase the Starter Bid Package of bids.

If you do not make any other purchases, you will not be charged as you are only charged for the purchases you make on our site. Hi, I am beginner, please, how long does it take for a auction session to terminate. By entering my information, am i buying the item? We are sorry to hear that!

Please contact our Customer Support Team and we will help you with your request. I bid 20 dollars on an item and I lose, do I lose the twenty dollars OR just the. Yes, that is possible, but we don't want that to happen to you which is why we offer the Buy Now so you can apply your bids from the auction towards the cost of the item. Is there a way to find out what the shipping charges on an item would be before I bid on it? I have searched the and help pages as well as several items description information, I'm not seeing anything about shipping.

Referring to Question 9 above Thanks! Shipping and any other fees are included in the Item Description. We want you to be able to see what they are before you commit to bidding. Yes, just contact our Customer Support Team and we are more than happy to help you with a refund! Hard to understand exactly what it costs to bid, or pay up front. Seems there is no place that gives the simply facts of the cost, unless I have missed that in my reading. Then when you use one of those bids in an auction, it raises the auction price up by one cent.

I am still confused, how about a simple example. Do I then have an option to "Buy Now" and how much would I then pay for the item. If you lose the auction, you do not have to pay anything else. There is not a typical length of an auction. Depending on the value of the auction, it can last just a few minutes or go on for hours. We are limited to 1 penny per bid, so does that mean if an item sells for 2.

However, those bids could be voucher bids, real bids or even free bids. There is not a particular time, but we have noticed each user does tend to have a time that they personally prefer. What you may be observing is what we call You-Choose it Auctions. This means that you can bid on many different items and once the auction is won, you can select the specific item that you wish to purchase.

You can read more about You-Choose it auctions here: Just to be clear, the bid packs are not used to pay for the item you win? The bid pack only pays for the ability to place bids, correct? Thank you for your help! However, if you lose the auction, you can apply the value of those bids you used towards the Buy Now option and pay the remaining difference.

I just sent an e-mail to customer service stating the easiest way to explain how Quibids works it's just like going to a casino you have to buy chips before you can bet. You have the same people day after day winning and bullying the other bidders. They will never respond to email complaints. Qbids is probably one of the better penny auction sites but you have to use common sense.

For the average person you have to set a budget you are willing to use, since you are in a sense gambling. The site is riddled with professional bidders that do this for a living, reselling their wins on other sites like ebay or resale stores. Gift cards and electronics garner the heaviest competition. Can be great fun. Had some great wins and some loses but used the buy option.

I was immediately charged sixty dollars as soon as I joined the site. Nothing I ever want to bid on even. I visited and was shocked at how expensive it was I was reluctant to call because I needed to cancel my subscription. I was pleasantly surprised to find the agent so kind and understanding about my situation.

Thank you for that. QuiBids is fun, exciting, and competitive. I've gotten some great deals but beware to the competitive people Thanks again for taking action right away. I was unaware of the cost. And you made it right. Thanks again Thank you Patsy. Wrong corrected in less than 24 hrs A-1 Support, I was quickly taken care of in complete satisfaction. Your assistance was extremely fast and efficient! Thank you so much for fixing MY mistake!

I can't thank you enough! I received a very quick and courteoous response. My account was credited with the requested amount in less than one hour. Awesome service thanks again. I feel confident to use QuiBits knowing if I ever have a problem they will respond and handle the situation fast.

So I am just waiting on them to come in. Very good customer service. That's enough of an explanation. I do not like to be asked to sent out one hundred details, not an acceptable practice. Called about a charge that was not mine and it was handled right then.

It will be back into my bank account within 7 business days. Already described in my earlier comments, I am greatful and appreciative for a prompt response and refund on a senior moment mistake in ordering a package that I had not intended. The first of its kind. Best investment I ever made!!

People simply do not read. I would ask them why they think they give their credit card number just to sign up. I doubt they were worth that much.

Don't waste your time or money. It's really a gambling site that claims to be an auction site to avoid paying gambling taxes. It's the same as putting coins in a slot machine RogueShodown Follow Forum Posts: Quidditch is a scam Gryffindor always wins and I always put my cash on Hufflepuff.

Fightingfan Follow Forum Posts: GamingVengeance Follow Forum Posts: It's a legit site. However they fool you into spending more than the thing you are bidding on is actually worth. If you bid a bunch it's costing you money. When you win you pay the price for the item, minus what you payed for the bids themselves.

It's also a gamble because if you lose at the end you cannot get your bids back. It's sort of like gambling, you can get things for cheap but you can also lose a lot. Bring back the main forum list. Ok here's the scoop. A few friends of mine have used this website. They said that they were happy. I never heard of it so I quickly signed up.

My friends' kids got some great deals. Here is the catch. You pay 60 cents for each bid placed. I'm guessing that is how they make their real money. They are in business to make money so it's in their best interest to keep their customers happy. When I signed up they took money out of my credit card within a minute of registering.

I was pissed to say the least. I tried to contact them but since it was after hours all I could do is send an email requesting a full refund. Would I get it? I didn't have a good nights sleep because they had my money and I had crap. Things were not looking good. An email is nice but refunding my money is nicer. QuiBids did the right thing. Alex the QuiBids rep responded quickly. They did the right thing and in my opinion they deserve a full 5 star rating.

On the QuiBids website they say to watch the introductory video to see how this works. Be smart when you bid because each bid costs 60 cents. Do a google search on how to bid and WIN, after all winning is what it's all about. When I have some free time I may give QuiBids another try.

You definitely can get some great deals. I already got my money back from them so I am just letting others know about my experience with them. Received the wrong purse which had a retail value for a lot less. Returned the purse twice and still after approximately 6 months total from first incident, have another wrong purse still needing to be sent back.

They have promised the item several times yet to date nothing. Even got my law firm involved and they were sent a letter and no response. Now it is a certified letter and if that doesn't get their attention small claims court is next. I loved this company and have been a member since Now I'm upset, disappointed and down right mad that they are playing me I'm not sure if everyone is seeing a different promotional sign-up page than myself but it's pretty clearly stated that you'll be charged in order to begin placing bids.

By no means am I saying that I've never ended up getting bent over by some shady companies. That said, if you're going to give out your card number to any company, it literally took all of 10 seconds to open a new tab, type in "is Quibids a fraud".

See everyone's negative experiences. In turn, helping me make an easy decision to avoid this company. For anyone living in California that has been subjected to this, please contact the California Consumer Affairs and inform them of the charge.

It is against the law in California for a company to charge your card without meeting the criteria spelled out in California Business Code, Article 2. Any company doing business online in California is required to have billing information and what you are being charged clearly and in the same font as the rest of the ad, it is required to let you know you are being charged prior to the charge.

And it is required to provide refund information prior to charge. Please send complaints to California Consumer affairs so we can put a stop to this scam. For more information about reviews on ConsumerAffairs.

The next evening I went to the site, and my account had been disabled. All my money was gone, all my bids that I paid for was gone, 1 of the gifts cards I won has been refunded so far, but that is it, I have just sent them an email telling them I want the rest of my money refunded, all of it. Please don't mess with this site. Just like eBay and other similar site, it looks like you need to add your credit card to begin bidding with the assumption that they will charge you when you make a bid.

I've asked for a refund, and hopefully they'll respond soon! I won 2 bids on QuiBids. They then sent me another email saying that the time limit to pay the 0. This is a SCAM Please do not use these ripoff artist. They need to be in prison for a felony. I signed up not knowing I was going to be charged. I emailed, said I wanted my money back.

The next day I checked and my account had been deleted. I called to see what had happened and they said that the money would be returned within 3 days. I had good customer service, and quick reply. Yes there should be more warning on the money being taken.

But the customer service was quick, and very helpful. I send more email, nothing. I have to call on the phone, it hooks me. There is Ace who told me "I have no reply to give you. Done what you have to do" then tells me that I am imbecile then are hook. If you don't win you lose your money, what kind of crab is that? That's full of crab. What would I wind up paying double?

They don't care about that you lost your money. They are so terrible. Please, if you want my advise do not use this website if you don't want to lose your money! I just signed up for Quibids a few minutes ago. They will not answer their phone at and it was during business hours. I am disputing this charge on my card. I bid on 2 different items and won them.

I ordered two other items and I received them within a few days. The ones that I won show billing info. Received and no shipping info. Talked to customer service and still don't show that they have shipped.

They say it is the vendor So it that is true don't order anything with Kocaso. I have not received either item.
