DevTechnosys created an application form and designed a data-base driven website for managing grant proposals. They also built an evaluation tool for internal use and a corresponding Android app. Introduce your business and what you do there. DG Application works with stakeholders who apply for funding.

The platform is intended for companies starting internships or apprenticeships. They can come to us and apply for government grants, and our company is responsible for distributing that money.

Once applicants complete the form on our website, we will select who will receive government funding.

The company has around 55 employees. What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys? They were hired to create our application form as well as design the website for it. What was the scope of their involvement? We also built a native Android app through which our application form can be accessed. For the latest campaign, we were targeting some specific applicants and wanted to store their information in the database so that, when someone came to the platform, they could enter characters and have the form auto-populate from there.

The evaluation tool is divided into multiple sections, the first being compliance. Through it, we will check the compliance of the applications we receive. The third section involves us going back to the applicants in order to obtain some documents and then uploading them onto the system. We are planning to create a website that will contain all the required information for companies wanting to apply for these grants, including documents and contact details as well as an actual application form.

How did you come to work with DevTechnosys? We have been working with them for a long time, and their level of understanding about our system has improved a lot.

Some colleagues referred DevTechnosys to us. The initial plan was to find an affordable company, which could also provide high-quality work. We know that there are a lot of developers who can do the same type of work, but we wanted to form a long-lasting relationship.

How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint? I would give them an almost perfect score in this area. We are using shared documents. Typically, we send DevTechnosys a scope along with a deadline and have them handle project management from their side. They document everything, try to interpret our requirements, and send us their versions for approval.

We are able to make changes and send documents back and forth until the final approval and the start of the development. After that, DevTechnosys handles QA on their side and sends it back to us for testing. I have worked with other developers who required formal requests for changes, and additional payment. DevTechnosys was always willing to accommodate us.

What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys? Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve? At one point, we wanted them to increase the number of QA people on their side. A single resource can easily miss something, and DevTechnosys actually agreed. DevTechnosys is experienced, and the feedback they bring to the table proves it. Internal testing shows that their work is quality. They missed one high-pressure deadline, but otherwise were spot-on with milestones and estimates.

I am a manager in charge of development. We were building a management portal which would allow enterprises to set up groups and events for their staff and general users. The client had their own system in place, and used XML technology for communicating between the existing version and the new one.

People using the application can sign up for public events and buy tickets online. They receive a kind of bar code which can be scanned on-premises.

Users can also see which of their peers are attending the same event through a social network model. We used third-party components for these functionalities and for the event-organization companies which posted on the new portal. Payment mainly happened one-to-one, between attendees and event organizers.

I was looking to outsource the project in order to keep costs down. One of my contacts from India introduced me to DevTechnosys. I sent them a standard email with a scope for the website, and received a very comprehensive proposal which even listed items outside of the scope.

I gave them a trial module which went well, so we came to an agreement. The project cost was divided into milestones. Once we reviewed the deliverables and were happy with the results, we would pay DevTechnosys. We started working with DevTechnosys in November The portal was delivered in April The scope for the first version has been complete.

We plan to start phase two, and release the platform in a fully-functioning state. Scoping the requirements was excellent. It was our first time developing an event-management system, but DevTechnosys had worked on a similar project in the past, and carried over that experience. Project communication was good. We had weekly status reports and Skype calls. DevTechnosys used a project tracking platform like JIRA, on which I could log in and see the entire progress at any given point in time.

We had clear goals around what was in planning, in development and in testing. This is a good quality for outsourcing companies, since most companies tend to take money from the client and not deliver. We reviewed everything, and, once we were happy, we made payments.

It was not part of the main plan, but I wanted the module to be delivered early, based on my timeline. This was the only instance I found to be not up-to-the-mark. Apart from this, everything has gone well. DevTechnosys developed and designed a WordPress site featuring product reviews, user profiles, and the capacity to support e-commerce in the future. DevTechnosys has provided creative designs. The team is available for questions, feedback, changes and ideation.

I was looking for developers for my site, and found a number of options in my city. They could build basic business sites, but none of them were able to build an interactive site, so I needed to look to either the US or India, the latter being more competitive when it came to price.

DevTechnosys is developing my WordPress site. The platform was recommended by their team. When I first talked to them, I had a few sketches of what I thought the homepage should look like, but the core concepts were only described in words.

DevTechnosys took this and worked with it, proposing two or three different design options for each segment. I also wanted a rating system and a system for displaying products. The site needed to be relatively simple and smooth. I mainly found candidates through web searches.

I also found a portal for developers, and talked to three or four companies in total. Beyond price, I also looked at their abilities on the mobile side. I have asked them to leave room in the design for an e-commerce component, for example. I negotiated with two or three Indian developers, and looked hard at the cost.

Most of them were willing to negotiate, and proved competitive. I started working with DevTechnosys in March The development time was supposed to be one month, but I caused some delays by not getting back to them with responses.

Originally, I dealt with one contact who took my idea and went to the development team. I then interacted with another person for the work itself. One week ago, we started work on a more complicated page, so I was put in touch with the developer himself. He was very good, talking to me for half an hour on Skype and explaining the task in detail. DevTechnosys has been professional overall. I have no complaints in terms of responsiveness. We mostly use Skype for sharing screens and messaging.

Better communication would be an improvement point. DevTechnosys is developing a website featuring a WebRTC component, user-generated video channels, booking capabilities, and live streaming.

DevTechnosys deftly includes all stakeholders in the process with their transparent project management system. They use the time difference to their advantage by delivering work by the start of the next business day.

The team is patient, service-oriented, and responsive to feedback. We also provide the ability to make local bookings through the website, and there is a fitness channel through which trainers can sell their videos. We will utilize CDN video technology for live transmissions.

I did a lot of research on the technologies for the website, particularly the Kurento WebRTC platform, which is the most important part of our website.

We use the WebRTC technology in order to enable clients to transmit classes live to their followers. This is meant for smaller groups who interact with trainers live. Both clients and trainers see each other on the screen, so the interaction is two-way. We reviewed multiple companies, looking to find the best fit for our project. DevTechnosys constantly tried to find out more about our project and had frequent calls with us.

I found that there was real interest on their part. We answered their questions and sent an Excel requirements file featuring our homepage look, functionalities and so on, which DevTechnosys went through in detail. We started working with DevTechnosys in January The first contact was actually in October or November The development is a bit complex, since we have three websites in one, basically.

The response time is perfect, and the work done so far is great. DevTechnosys is currently working on the backend of the site.

Once I have that, I will be able to test the website with mock accounts. We use Skype for the main part, as well as email. They will make any adjustments or corrections based on what I request. I was very picky from the beginning in terms of design, but DevTechnosys was able to include me in that process, and provided mockups to me.

Every time I made a note on those mockups, I received fast responses from their team. Even though we are in different time zones, I can send them feedback late in the day and receive a reply by next morning. DevTechnosys has been beyond my expectations, and I have no complaints. I have nothing to say in this regard.

Whenever I was not happy with something, I could tell them. DevTechnosys was always listening and trying to understand what I needed. DevTechnosys developed a web-based gambling platform. They delivered thorough documentation of their plan of action, then delivered a complete platform with a classic design. The DevTechnosys platform has received positive feedback and is of some renown in the target market. The team provided regular progress reports. Their project management and work style were successful.

Our system is connected with various data providers to get online games information. We allow users to play with it and make money. I am working as a financial manager cum business consultant here. The challenge was to develop this level of the platform. There are only a few companies available in the market who have a compatible team to turn my idea into reality. I tried with various companies but found DevTechnosys more capable than their competitors. They had good reviews, so I chose them to play with it.

The scope was to create a website for our gambling business to allow Aussies to play poker and generate good money. So I started with a simple RFP [request for proposal] to give them a basic idea about my requirements. From that, I found myself confident enough to move forward with them.

They made a classical design and provided me a perfect flow to work on every single phase of the project. After a lot of internet research, I found few organizations with good backgrounds and reputations to discuss my project idea with. After spending a lot of time in communication with these companies, I found DevTechnosys very technical, thoughtful, and compatible with my project requirements.

We have a good audience now and you can find us over gambling-specific networks in Australia by name of Pokies. We are quite famous and getting good responses from our targeted network. There could be more specific metrics available after some time has passed. The project management methodology and style delivers. They are greedy for work and never compromise with quality. They always submit a weekly report that covers completed tasks and scheduled tasks for the next week.

This was the main thing that made my project successful. I think they are very good with their project management skills; hats off to their project manager. I am an osteopath running a healthcare business. We treat patients with various types of injuries and pain, using manual techniques to help them get back to normal.

I am a founder of the practice, along with a business partner. Our old website was quite dated, so we needed to bring it up to modern standards and add some more modern features such as moving images, online booking, and a blog. DevTechnosys helped us with a major overhaul of our website. We kept the existing format but added quite a bit to its scale, including an online booking system, a blog, some moving images, and extra content. The booking tool integrates with our internal calendar, Cliniko.

Jul 21, by Louise M in New to Upwork. Profile control issues suggest Upwork's primary goal is to create its own unique NSA-style database of photo-verified private intel to secretly exploit for commercial gain. There is NO reason at law to compel photos - and how are these tested for authenticity, anyway? There Is NO reason at law to compel so much private information. In fact, Elance had a policy not to share such info.

As long as the client can pay and the freelancer can deliver, Upyours should direct its attention to improving its appallingly poor search mechanisms. The collection of so much private information simply to be able to submit proposals is a breach of everything good about America. Photos promote racism, sexism, agism and worse, it gives virtual strangers way too much access to one another. These regressive control mechanisms must go. Subscribers should be free to create a profile that makes sense to us.

DevTechnosys has made a number of tweaks on our website since the original project, and we plan to use them in the future. The website is working fine for us at the moment, but we will potentially be changing some elements on it.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement? The online booking feature has made a big difference. It has saved us money in terms of phone calls and time. I mainly messaged them on the Upwork platform.

DevTechnosys usually got back to me within a couple of hours and always had solutions to my queries. I also spoke to one of their contacts on Skype. English-wise, she was very good, so I could communicate clearly and effectively. I was passed on to another contact, which was a bit of a surprise, but the transition was pretty smooth.

DevTechnosys built MVPs for a website and mobile app. Starting with design consultation, they tested and developed user profiles, buyer and seller user types, photo filtering, social timelines, and analytics. Although the app is new and data is limited, DevTechnosys has handled all emerging issues in a timely manner.

Always available, DevTechnosys delivers daily reports and delegated responsibly. They have shown the ability to listen, plus execute the technical requirements of this evolving project. They helped us work out the functionalities and the initial mockups and designs. I had some wireframes that I had already worked on with a local designer that is no longer working with us.

DevTechnosys picked up where that designer left off and we worked together on the wireframes. We launched that project last year and did a lot of testing.

We divided the project into milestones and started with the login features. Every buyer can create their profile and we also had to work with changing their passwords and getting the certifications that come with that. There were some specifications on the profile that was very important to us so we worked on building that profile on the buyer side.

Then we started working on the dealer side of things. There are accounts that we create on the admin level but then the users of the app are the actual salespeople at the store. We had to set up the admin system to create the dealership accounts for every new client.

Then we generate a referral code that the salespeople can use to either login or create accounts through the app so they attach to the store they work at.

Another aspect is the administrator backend for me and my team where we can review stats and metrics and make changes to certain parts of the app. We have photo editing where dealers will be posting photos and videos. They can share that with their Facebook friends and their friends can comment. We had an idea of how we wanted things to work but we had to test it at the store and talk with our clients to see if it worked. DevTechnosys has been helping us like a tech team instead of us just giving them instruction.

They help us figure things out. I posted a job on Upwork. There were a bunch of candidates that applied and I looked through their credentials and reviewed their ratings on Upwork.

We vetted three companies and DevTechnosys seemed interesting. I talked with them and what sparked me was their availability. They were very responsive. For me, if I have to work with a company overseas, they need to be responsive.

DevTechnosys had a team. So we had a Skype call with them. We started working with them in November Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement? For example, I found a problem with the server but it was fixed overnight. We have 20 users. They have two project managers that we work with.

One oversees everything with the sales aspect. The other project manager is technical and handles the team. We tell the PMs our needs and they communicate those requirements to the rest of the team. We get a review every day except weekends. One of my concerns with overseas companies is the language barrier. If I know exactly what I want and I tell them, they are good at estimating the time it will take.

We use Excel to track bugs. They could maybe get the backend team to pay more attention to grammar. The PMs have been working to doublecheck those things as well.

DevTechnosys provided frontend development for scheduling software. They wrote code for buying services by zip code, integrating GPS, calendar, and payment capabilities. They also built a custom admin panel. While their design skills were good, their code was exceptional. Although time zones were a challenge, DevTechnosys provided excellent project management and customer service. I developed all the branding, marketing strategies, and search engine optimization, and designed the scheduling software that went into the website itself.

All that we required was really simple: We actually hit that goal at one point. I was pretty impressed with them on that front. The scheduling software itself was the whole crux of the website, and they did a great job developing it. It was zip-code specific. They did an impressive piece of coding as far as that goes. The CMS was custom built, and they did it all within the confines of the cPanel that they purchased from GoDaddy to put everything at.

They built a custom admin panel for the website, which I assume they do for all of their sites. You log on with an assigned username and password, and you can create and edit the parameters of the site as you see fit.

It is similar to what you would do in Shopify. It was a nice feature. They were able to incorporate Google Maps when we asked for it.

Other than that, they did a basic landing page. It was pretty long because it was a floating landing page. They actually did some design themselves, a lot of which we had to go back and tweak on the frontend.

We would provide them with assets, and they would make the corrections. I didn't find them; it was our CEO. He found them through a friend who referred him to a service called Upwork. They were one of the highest-rated companies on Upwork.

We went with them because their rating was so good, and it worked out. We had some revisions that went beyond what we had originally agreed upon, which they were very happy to oblige. That ended up costing us a little more. The project started in August I was with a different employer, and then FlamingoFix hired me as creative director in October to step in and manage the project.

They delivered the website in January There are no issues. They tidied up well. We used the built-in messaging system on Upwork to communicate with them. It has their whole team and ours in the chatroom at the same time. I was the main person from my side that communicated with them.

In case our CEO wanted to step in and say anything, he was able to do that really easily. He was always the point of contact and always very helpful and accommodating. His English is good. The time difference is a little rough. There were nights where I had to stay up late to Skype or communicate with them because of the nature of the time zone.

But by the time we got off the phone and wake up several hours later, the revisions were done, no matter how many I had given them. They work very quickly. The team is very efficient. You give them a task. You have to pull it up on Skype and screen share it. Still, I would say they are super efficient. We had to go back in, do some frontend development in Photoshop and InDesign, and then send them the assets.

Once I did that, they would replicate it to a tee. I think that it would be a great customer service aspect. Customer service-wise, they should cater to the needs of the client. A fashion retailer needed to tack on pre-order management capability to their existing e-commerce presence and switched to DevTechnosys as a result.

After 3 days, I still can't post for jobs, and I get no replies to the ticket. Every time I open another ticket, I get a reply from a tech saying they are closing it because the original ticket is open, and to reply through there. However, all my replies to the original ticket have been ignored for 3 days.

These are 3 days where I could be getting work. Any help would be appreciated. Jun 9, by osama i in New to Upwork. Jun 9, by Valeria K in New to Upwork. Please, complete your profile in order to be able to apply for jobs on Upwork. Having a complete profile is very important for attracting potential clients and getting good contracts. You should add more information about your skills and experience and please make sure your use capital letters where appropriate, in your name for example.

Jun 13, by Aris S in New to Upwork. Hello, It's been more than a month since I completed my profile and it still says it's under review; I can't apply to any job. Jun 13, by Valeria K in New to Upwork. I am sorry about the delay. However, you profile can't be approved the way it is now. Your profile overview is too short and doesn't contain sufficient information about your skills and experience. Especially since you are going to apply for translation jobs, your profile overview is important to showcase your knowledge of the language.

Make sure you use complete sentenses and capital letters where appropriate.

Dec 26, by harsh p in New to Upwork. A fashion retailer needed to tack on pre-order management capability to their existing e-commerce presence and switched to DevTechnosys as a result. DevTechnosys bid and met the client's fast development horizon to ensure pre-order was ready when needed.

The site has performed well in initial testing. We needed somebody to quickly develop a website that could handle preorders. We gave them guidelines of what we were looking for, and they designed and developed the complete website.

They used HTML to build the website. We researched companies online and may have found DevTechnosys on Clutch. We got quotes from another company besides them but decided to use DevTechnosys because they gave us a shorter timeline. We were anxious to get the project started because we had a certain deadline to meet.

So far, their work has been very good. Sometimes, there was difficulty communicating because of the time difference.

However, that got better over time once we synced our schedules. DevTechnosys was contracted to develop and design a website on WordPress with a PHP backend that allows customers to edit and manipulate images before they are printed.

DevTechnosys set themselves apart from other providers with their meticulous project management and constant, in-depth communication.

They demonstrated a full understanding of the project from the beginning and quickly corrected any bugs that appeared. We are a printing and imaging company offering wide-format printers, plotters, as well as service and supplies for those products. I am the owner of the company. We have a production department for printing photography and graphics on backlit material, so we wanted to build a website which would allow customers to edit images, add filters and so on. It would serve as a livelier environment for visualizing what the end-product would be.

I found DevTechnosys through Upwork. I posted a job and received different quotes from across the world. DevTechnosys' work was compatible with what I wanted; it looked professional and legitimate. I had a phone conversation with DevTechnosys' team, explained what I wanted, and received a list of tasks by the next day. Devtechnosys had a very good understanding of what I was aiming for. We started working with DevTechnosys in late We were supposed to have a one-month turnaround, but have exceeded it by a bit, mainly because of my side.

The project is completed, and we have only a few things to address around the server integration. We are based in Las Vegas and have good connections with larger firms for graphics equipment and supplies. We also provide overflow printing services, so we have given several clients access to the new site. They've been impressed with what we've been able to do.

DevTechnosys was very good regarding communication. Anything I identified in the testing phase, was quickly fixed. I was given a full scope in writing, including every single step of the process, from design to development and testing.

Our communication was done through Skype and Upwork. DevTechnosys is in a different time zone, but they've responded to us even late at night. I've contracted different developers over time, both locally and through Upwork. As far as the process goes, DevTechnosys distinguished itself through an ability to follow step-by-step instructions and understanding what I wanted almost fully after a single conversation.

Not really, I am happy with their performance. Overall Score The experience was quite good. All members understand their roles and never let me down. I will surely recommend them to my friends because their project management process was extremely good.

Because of this, my project was made possible. You will always find that missing from other companies. They work long hours, so it was never more than 24 hours before they got back to me. Compared to paying the going rate in the UK, DevTechnosys can provide considerable savings. Founder, Car Sales App. The client is a car buying services company.

We needed an MVP in the form of a website and mobile app. Overall Score I would dock them because of the grammar mistakes that annoy me. I would totally recommend them. They have their stuff together. You can stretch an American dollar a lot farther in that world than you can in ours. But honestly, that is what I was hired to do for the project—to make sure it looks amazing. Doing an excess of frontend design was not a huge deal for me. If your scenarios are the same as mine—you have someone that can drive your ship as far as direction and design and is competent in those areas—I would give a 5.

If not, I would give them a 4. Lead Designer, Men's Fashion Retailer. We began working with them in November , and the project was completed in February We had a project manager and we also spoke with the lead developer through Slack.
